Asbury Park, NJ — A young musician + a Monmouth County based charity + lots of
fantastic bands = an amazing day of music and purpose. That’s what Carlotta Schmidt, 17, aims
to accomplish with Fourth Wave Fest, a music festival coming to Asbury Park on Sunday, March
3, 2024. Carlotta, a lifelong Monmouth County resident, has partnered with 180 Turning Lives
Around, to create an event which is both a benefit for 180 and a women-led day of music
designed to elevate and emphasize women’s role in the music business. 180 is a 501(c)(3)
charitable organization which helps survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse in all of
Monmouth County. All proceeds from Fourth Wave Fest go to 180. All of the acts at Fourth
Wave Fest are women-led and New Jersey based. The festival will take place at Asbury Lanes on
Sunday, March 3, 2024, doors open at 3 pm and show begins at 3:30 pm, and will feature Des
and the Swagmatics, Ryver Bey, the Gab Cinque Band, Teen Idle, A Real Human Jazz Band,
Pepperwine, Carlotta Schmidt, and Anointed Friends. The festival will also feature door prizes
valued at over $1,000 that will be given away throughout the festival and entertaining content
celebrating women in music history, provided in conjunction with Steve Van Zandt’s
organization, Teach Rock. Tickets are $35 in advance, and $40 at the door. Tickets can be
purchased at www.asburylanes.com, and more information about the event can be found at
