Bio The Chuck Lambert Band represents a musical commitment to expanding the range and scope of the Blues. He incorporates the vitality and innovation of modern electric blues-rock with the soul and emotional depth of its traditional acoustic forms. With over 50 years of “blues time” at his disposal, Chuck completes this musical presence with his distinguished vocals and superb guitar playing. The result is his unique and original narration of the power of the Blues and its enduring legacy. He is widely acknowledged as one of New Jersey’s finest Blues artists. Chuck has had the distinct honor of playing with Blues Masters such as John Lee Hooker, J.B. Hutto and the legendary B.B. King. While spending time in Chicago the home of electric blues, Chuck was able to play many of the cities acclaimed Blues Artists. Chuck has led his band through a host critically acclaimed performances as they have opened for popular artists such as The Yardbirds, Little Feat and Kenny Wayne Shepard. The band has performed in prestigious musical venues like NJPAC, The Count Basie Theatre and SOPAC. They have performed at Le Festiblues International de Montreal; The Riverhead Blues Festival in Riverhead L.I.; The Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival at Six Flags Great Adventure, Freehold NJ; The Westfield Jazz & Blues Festival in Westfield NJ; The Red Bank Jazz & Blues Festival and The Jazz in the Park Series in Red Bank NJ. The band has also have entertained audiences at The Clearwater Festival at Gateway National Park at Sandy Hook NJ and Asbury Park NJ; and represented The Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation in 2007 and 2013 at The International Blues Competition held in Memphis Tenn. He has also performed at popular Blues venues in New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Memphis and Montreal.
